Job Description
A Derivatives Confirmation Business Analyst is required for one of the world's largest and most prestigious international investment banks.
The derivatives confirmations projects team is a part of derivative projects, which is an operations-based business analysis and project/programme management team, based in the London Docklands.
The goal of derivatives confirmations projects team is to deliver an industry leading confirmation solution for derivatives of all asset classes (equity, fixed income, commodities, FX, credit).
The successful candidate will be capable of performing detailed business analysis in order to understand and resolve current issues and develop/define the future state vision. This will require the individual to influence at senior levels, whilst also being skilled at extracting requirements from subject matter experts in operations, legal, compliance, trading, sales and risk management.
Strong business analysis skills are mandatory - both low level analysis such as requirement capture, and high level analysis such as developing a future state architecture. These skills should be coupled with a creative, flexible and pragmatic approach to problem solving. A track record of project delivery and prior experience of stakeholder management is also required.
