Job Description
A Corporate Actions Section Manager is required for an international premier, and globally respected investment bank, based in London's Docklands.
The corporate action area is responsible for informing clients of upcoming corporate action events on a timely basis. You will be reconciling the firm's positions and managing the risk to the firm on securities undergoing a corporate event.
Key Responsibilities will be to:
- Establish a comprehensive risk management process in asset servicing,
- Establish risk reporting and escalation process within business and operations management, and
- Establish firm wide education and awareness programme on asset servicing risk.
The role offers excellent development value, including exposure to a wide variety of countries, and range of products, as well as exposure to senior desk management and front and middle office.
You will demonstrate experience managing both voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, preferably within a broker dealer environment. You will demonstrate experience within an operational risk environment, and have a proven record of managing staff. Exposure to stock lending functionality would be considered beneficial.
