Revenue and Customs staff unhappy
A survey of over 18,000 staff working for HM Revenue and Customs has shown that morale throughout the organisation is at a low ebb. Nearly three quarters think that the Department was changing for the worse and only 21% of employees are satisfied at present, compared 32% in a survey two years ago. Staff in tax offices have already held a one day strike earlier this year and further industrial action is threatened.
