• Don’t have an affair with a married boss

  Times columnist, Suzi Godson, has strongly advised employees not to have an affair with a married boss.  She says that if both partners are single it is unlikely to be a problem but many employers strongly disapprove of senior managers having a relationship with more junior members of staff if they are already married.  She also says that if the relationship breaks down your boss is likely to turn against you and your colleagues are more likely to stay loyal to their boss than take your side.
