Job Description
The thriving corporate finance department of this top, two office regional independent firm seeks a corporate finance assistant to assist in the origination, appraisal and completion of corporate transactions.
This provides an outstanding opportunity to develop a corporate finance career, in a strong and well-recognised corporate finance department.
You will assist the team in the origination of corporate finance deals, by conducting industry and business research; networking and assisting with marketing and business development activities.
You will also assist in the appraisal of deals by conducting financial forecasting and assessment of both quantitative and qualitative material.
You will assist the department in deal completion by providing assistance on spreadsheet modelling, report drafting and ad hoc project work and research.
The ideal applicant will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience with strong accounts preparation, budgeting and forecasting skills. You will also have good research skills and be able to work your own initiative. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills; with high levels of
numeracy and the ability to organise your work; work to deadlines; and work within a team.
Given that this role is with a strong practice, and will require client facing and business development activities, you will be a highly articulate, sociable and presentable individual in keeping with the professionalism of the practice.
