The area of expertise that is required is that of the oil and gas sector, the ideal candidate will have been an Associate within an Investment Banking team and will have worked on a number of transactions understanding the full cycle of the deal from the investors perspective. Generation of deal flow is not a pre-requisite at this stage but evidence of an entrepreneurial nature and willingness to build a network will be imperative for the successful candidate. Those who have been fortunate enough to work on a renewable energy deal will also have an advantage as the opportunities to invest in this area are growing steadily.
