Job Description
We are a global Investment Management company based in London and part of one of the world`s largest banking groups. Due to continued growth we are now looking for 2 Investment Assistants to join our UK team. One vacancy is for the Private Clients team and the other is for the charities team.
Reporting to the Team Head, the main purpose of the role is to provide assistance to relationship and portfolio managers with the management of client portfolios and provide general assistance to team. You responsibilities will be to:
- Provide continual support and assistance to team to ensure client portfolios and relationships are managed to business and client expectations.
- Ensure client requests are dealt with in professional and timely manner where appropriate.
- Undertake and manage any projects as required by team in a professional manner and within timeframes given.
- Provide timely and effective general administrative duties to team including, opening/closing accounts, preparation of presentation packs and client requests.
- Take orders and execute where authorised.
- Assist in year end tax planning where required by business.
- Maintain administrative systems in accordance with Investment Management policy.
- Ensure continuous personal development through professional qualifications and internal training and development.
- Develop and maintain relationship with key support personnel in our network.
- Support adhoc projects.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 2 years experience in an investment type business to provide a basic understanding of what our business is about. You have to be degree educated and have an IMC or similar qualification or be willing to study towards one. You need to be very IT literate, numerate, good team player with a good phone manner, well organised and a completer/finisher.
