Job Description

A global investment and advisory firm specialising in Property, Real Estate and Infrastructure is currently looking to add to its European Real Estate Team on a temporary basis. Reporting directly into the European Real Estate Fund controller, you will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records of a portion of the UK and European investments made by the business group. Responsibilities of this role include: ? Preparation of monthly management accounts, including posting journals and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of information ? Management of investment financing requirements including loan facility establishment drawdown and rollovers ? Management of cash requirements including invoice payments and inter-entity flows ? Bank debt covenant monitoring and reporting ? Co-ordination of local Accountants, particularly for investments in Europe ? Preparation of ad hoc reports for other staff and teams from the Management Accounts ? Preparation of the Annual Accounts and also the provision of information to the firm`s accountants and auditors ? Preparation of VAT and Tax returns ? Other ad hoc tasks, reporting and projects from time to time as required by the business. You will need the ability to work as part of a team, be energetic, motivated and have a flexible approach work. Ideally you will be qualified with some exposure to the property industry. You will need to show a proactive approach to work and be able to work under your own initiative. In a great City location and with a very competitive rate this is an opportunity not to be missed.
