Job Description

A leading City based Retail Bank is looking for a Senior Statutory Accountant to join its Group Division. They need someone on board for a minimum of 6 months with strong knowledge of IFRS, UK and US GAAP to help throughout their year end period with potential for permanent work thereafter. The role will entail, Functioning as team leader in all elements of Group Statutory Accounting. Preparing group statutory consolidated profit and loss account and balance sheet for monthly and year-end reporting to Group finance team. Preparing annual statutory accounting for UK entities, ensuring compliance with government reporting standards. Preparing annual forecast and budget models. Consolidating Group budgets and forecasts. Bank of England reporting, preparing reports and statements. Ensuring financial reporting compliant with UK GAAP and US GAAP.
