Job Description

Accountant/Fund administrator £15-25ph (dependent on experience) Temp-Perm An established Alternative Investment Manager, founded in 1999 that specializes in creating multi-strategy fund of hedge funds products requires an accountant/fund administrator who will report to the CFO. This varied Fund Administrator role will involve reviewing valuations prepared by external fund administrators and gather and communicate data on cash in/outflows for funds as well as pricing. As well as monitoring the funds` liquidity you will also oversee the accountants who maintain the books of accounts and the cash flows of the investment manager. You will also have close liaison with portfolio manager, administrators, investors and external accountants. The candidate should be able to work under pressure, have the ability to multitask and handle difficult clients as well as be able to multitask and have a good appreciation of accounting and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly. The ideal candidate would be an accounting/business graduate with a minimum of a year's fund accounting/fund administration experience or 2 years in accounting in financial services.
