Job Description
Leading Docklands based investment bank is looking for a technical business analyst to join their Operations MIS team.
They are looking for an individual to provide process analysis, application development and change management within the Global MIS team. Initial focus will be to lead a streamlining programme within the team. The successful candidate must possess excellent technical skills (VBA, Access, Excel) and be able to support the team in this respect. They must also be an excellent communicator and be able to assist the manager in driving the team forward to meet its business objectives.
Main duties and responsibilities are to:
- Participate in (and lead) the analysis and design of MIS Solutions covering all business lines within Operations.
- Manage assigned projects proactively, autonomously and within specified deadlines.
- Participate in end-to-end change management, liaising with multiple internal stakeholders and ensuring effective communication.
- Develop and implement both proof-of-concept and full solutions, including improvements to existing MIS reports to improve efficiency.
- Integrate new processes into BAU and provide technical support for all MIS reporting tools within the team.
- Assist management with development of the future direction of the MIS team
- Work alongside Global Operations Control team and developing MIS to reflect shifting risk within operations.
- Respond to any ad-hoc requirements as appropriate
The successful candidate must be advanced in:
Database management (Access & VBA)
System Analysis and Design
Process engineering
Report design and development (Excel & VBA)
This is a permanent role to start as soon as possible.
