Job Description
A Dividends Supervisor is required for an eminent international securities firm.
Based in the London Docklands, the successful candidate will become an integral part of the dividends team, which reconciles all exceptions raised by the system each day where the dividend amount received does not match that expected. This process includes the authorisation of those credits to client accounts. The team chases any dividends not received.
Main daily and monthly duties of the role will be to oversee and coordinate the day to day running of the team, and ensure operational procedures are being followed and regulatory breaches do not occur. The candidate will monitor staff performance and provide training and coaching to facilitate staff development.
Good understanding of dividends/interest/distributions, the associated tax and the dividend payment process relating to all types of dividend is required for this role. This will be proven and demonstrated through the successful candidate's solid experience of account reconciliation.
