Job Description
A Senior Pricing Analyst is required for the Surrey base of one of the UK's largest mutual fund managers, and the European leader in pan-European equities.
Pricing is responsible for the daily pricing of all traded securities held by the firm. It also performs validation checks on security prices received from vendors using automated controls as well as being responsible for the relationships with price data vendors.
The senior pricing analyst's duties include the daily checking, investigating and correcting of security prices, FX rates & indices to value the securities held. This process requires liaison with multiple global institutions including; custodial banks, fund managers and trading desks. The senior pricing analyst will be expected to ensure that the department meets daily internal/external deadlines, and train new members to the department regarding procedures/workflows.
Proven experience of security pricing of retail/institutional funds including equity, fixed income and derivative pricing is essential, as is experience of unit trusts, OEICs and off-shore funds. As this is a mentoring role, you will demonstrate the proven ability to communicate and work with all levels of personnel.
