Job Description

We are the asset management arm of one of the world`s leading Investment banks who are looking to recruit an experienced Risk manager to join our Operational Risk Management team. Job profile: The specific role of Operational Risk Management is the anticipation and migration of risk of operational distribution at all levels of the organisation. This is to be achieved with the support of and in partnership with broader investment businesses You will contribute to the reduction of financial and operational exposure through the performance of comprehensive risk assessment programmes and the monitoring and management of the adequacy of our internal and external controls Your responsibilities will include: - Identification through comprehensive review program, of operational and internal control exposures within investment businesses - Operational vulnerability analysis - Loss and Error review - Regression testing and corrective actions - Support where necessary due diligence for business lines and products - Ad-hoc risk based reviews of business units as appropriate - Provide support to ensure that areas of the business are measuring potential exposures in A consistent and disciplined manner - Production of Risk Registers as appropriate - Production of regular exposure analysis - Risk awareness and exposure indemnification training for all staff The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years working in a Risk function that has experience in interrogating the business and identifying Operational risk weaknesses.
