Job Description
A quantitative analyst is required for a prominent international asset management house. The role is based in London. You will be supporting the equity team which is a group of professionals and portfolio managers.
The role will be to provide quantitative analysis to the firm's UK investment managers. Initially this role will be confined to equity market analysis, but could include fixed income over time.
Key activities will include quantitative screening: you will refine existing screens or building new screens. These screens are used to identify candidates for closer analysis and potential inclusion in actively managed portfolios. You will also perform risk analysis and portfolio characteristics analysis.
You must demonstrate expertise in the field of quantitative analysis, along with the ability to provide insight on the practical implications of the results of this analysis. Existing knowledge and experience in equity analysis and analytical software would be of advantage to candidates.
