Job Description
We are a leading independent Stockbrokers based in Canary Wharf who have experienced tremendous amounts of growth in the past 12 months and expect the same in 2008/2009.
Were are currently looking to recruit experienced Brokers to join our desk which covers multiple products (FX, Equities, CFD`s etc..). You will be a key member of the team to help build and establish the department by servicing the customers to develop the firms overall standing in the market.
Your duties will include:
- Advising clients on request e.g. on market conditions, stock picking and special
situations across the entire market
- Contact client where he/she is happy to receive proactive advice, and to advise
on opportunities to deal in all the company`s recommendations from FTSE 100 to AIM
- Maintain awareness of stock market conditions and economic trades, liaise with internal
and external departments
- Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the firms own policies and
procedures in addition to FSA rules (consult compliance staff to obtain ruling)
- Communicate effectively with other staff in the firm e.g. IT, Settlements or Marketing
To ensure smooth operation of supporting processes
It is essential that you have at least 12 months broking experience in a reputable house and are FSA registered. You will also need to be pro-active and be a team player and have the ability to perform under pressure.
