Job Description

A unique opportunity has come up with this reputable Banking client to come into their Consumer Banking team, in a Financial Modelling role. Working specifically in their Transactional Banking area, the role will incorporate working closely with the Business to analyse balances and income with the view to developing capabilities and tools and to embed business processes. The role demands a candidate who is highly commercially astute (but also has an excellent grasp of the retail banking sector), with the ability to identify, understand and articulate key business drivers and indicators. The successful candidate should have extensive Financial Modelling experience, with experience in providing financial support to new customer and product development. Similarly they should be able to utilise their modelling techniques to ensure that robust business cases, product proposals and forecasts are developed and maintained. The succesful candidate should be a strong communicator with the ability to distil and communicate key financials clearly to the business. Looking for qualified accountants, with banking experience and advanced Excel. Contract length circa 9 months.
