They manage over £1.2 billion on behalf of leading UK, European and international institutional clients and has been at the forefront of infrastructure investment, Far Eastern/Asian private equity and P E fund of funds

What you will be doing

You will provide high quality finance and investment accounting support for their teams in Infrastructure, Asian private equity and Fund of Funds. You will work with a small team responsible for controlling the processing by the Custodian of all daily cash receipts and disbursements, review of investment ledgers, preparation of reconciliations, processing transactions and maintaining records in Private Equity Office, investment and financial reporting system, preparation of quarterly reports and performance modelling. Your key responsibilities will include preparation of daily cash flow transactions including distribution receipts and payments due in respect of each portfolio, liaison with investment managers and Custodian to effect investment transactions, monitoring of cash balances, bank reconciliations and cash management and ensuring accuracy of Private Equity Office investment and general ledgers including reconciliation to HiPortfolio ledgers. You will be responsible for updating investment and investor records in Private Equity Office, including updates of investor records according to legal and compliance requirements. You will manage fee calculations and recharges. You will prepare quarterly fund performance reports - this is a key responsibility as quarterly reports are the main contact we have with many of our clients and requires close liaison with the investment and investor relations teams. There will also be ad hoc project work and liaison with the team on a global basis

What they are looking for
You must be a qualified accountant with good analytical and problem solving skills. You should be educated to degree level or equivalent. Previous financial services experience is essential (ideally in Private Equity although not essential).
