THE CLIENT:

Our client is a world-leading long term developer, investor and operator of public sector infrastructure assets in the UK and internationally. The Business Development division of the Investments business is responsible for the group's PPP/PFI bidding and business development in all sectors, both UK and internationally. The Investment Manager role is part of a team responsible for providing the Project Finance and Commercial support to bidding activity across the business.

THE ROLE:

Responsible for all financial aspects during the PFI bidding process including:

• Lead and manage financial advisors
• Financial Model development underlying standard bid and variants
• Ensure Investment Committee financial return criteria are met
• Negotiation of funding terms and documents
• Bid submission finance text
• Resolution of accounting and taxation issues
• Management of bidding costs
• Liaison with client's staff and financial advisors
• Maintain relationships with Funders and awareness of market terms/trends
• Other ad-hoc project work (e.g. re-financings)
• Maintain awareness of Legal/Regulatory pronouncements as they pertain to PFI procurement
