My client is a highly reputed, award winning Private Equity house based in London with an International reach. One of their most successful divisions is the Mining group with a portfolio currently comprising of over 15 assets and further capital commitments to expand this.

THE CLIENT:

The fund is managed by known leaders in the field with impeccable professional and academic backgrounds, providing the basis for a highly successful venture.

THE ROLE:

Taking accountability for the day-to-day management of proposed deals you will hold responsibility for a small team leading the analysis and financing advice and all other elements surrounding the successful execution of the acquisition. Alongside this you will also evaluate potential acquisitions preparing recommendations for the board.

The role will evolve over a short period of time into a full investment management position in which your focus will be largely based on the origination of Infrastructure opportunities.

THE CANDIDATE:

As well as having an outgoing, professional personality and evidence of having built strong external client relationships in the past, you will also satisfy the following:

> Post grad qualification (ACA, MBA or Business School) > Typically 4 years of post degree analytical work in a blue-chip financial environment (e.g. investment banking, private equity, accountancy, project finance) > Direct experience of the Metals & Mining sector.
