My client has just raised a new fund and is now in one of the most exciting phases of the funds development as it seeks to invest in opportunities across Europe.

THE CLIENT:

With a strong track record in the Private Equity industry this firm has a proven history of success. The firm is small enough to not be affected by the large corporate politics, which will allow any prospective employee the freedom to carve out a successful PE career. There is a generalist focus to the business with most deals ranging from £10 - 50m. With an open approach to investments they are seeking a confident individual, with a good understanding of the deal process to originate and execute new proposals.

THE ROLE:

Working closely with the Partners of the business you will be involved in all aspects of the deal from origination through to execution and the subsequent management of the portfolio business. This will include but by no means be limited to the following:

> Originating and appraising potential opportunities > Executing potential financing, > Managing 3rd party advisors > Project managing the deal process > Outlining future business strategy > Managing business assimilation and future management

THE CANDIDATE:

Successful candidates will be confident individuals with a strong academic background and at least 3+ years deal experience. Ideal backgrounds would include coming from a ‘big 4' lead advisory team or a well established Corporate Finance house.
