My client is a successful and reputed Investment Bank with a well established presence in Europe and the Emerging Markets. With exciting opportunities for continued investment in the Russian and CIS regions they are now looking to add to their Infrastructure Investment group.

THE CLIENT:

This business has offices worldwide and is a known leader in its field. The Infrastructure Capital franchise typically invests in PFI/ PPP assets, at any stage of their lifecycle. The franchise is managed by known leaders in the field with impeccable professional and academic backgrounds, providing the basis for a highly successful venture.

THE ROLE:

Taking accountability for the day-to-day management of proposed deals you will hold responsibility for the analysis and financing advice and all other elements surrounding the successful execution of the acquisition. Alongside this you will also evaluate potential acquisitions preparing recommendations for the board.

The role will evolve over a short period of time into a full investment management position in which your focus will be largely based on the origination of Infrastructure opportunities.

THE CANDIDATE:

As well as having an outgoing, professional personality and evidence of having built strong external client relationships in the past, you will also satisfy the following:

> Post grad qualification (ACA, MBA) > Typically 4 years of post degree analytical work in a blue-chip financial environment (e.g. investment banking, private equity, accountancy, project finance) > Direct experience of infrastructure/ project finance (worked within project or corporate finance teams focusing on infrastructure deals) > Russian language skills - highly beneficial
