Job Description
Role Purpose:
The role involves being responsible for managing, developing and monitoring the customer relationships and sales activity with a specified panel of brokers. The panel will consist of a mix of Partner, Key and standard accounts. There will also be responsibility for the sales and relationship management of scheme or niche business brokers or other categories as appropriate. The role encompasses the whole ABC portfolio including Commercial and Personal Lines plus any ancillary work or products which may arise from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
To be able to demonstrate a successful track record of developing business.
ACII preferred or progress toward.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with customers at all levels.
A good working knowledge of software house EDI systems and protocols.
The ability to act as a filter on commercial business to ensure the presentation of business within our target areas. Where possible some underwriting skills will be utilised together with training opportunities.
The successful candidate will be able to work without daily supervision and be self motivated in a proactive and innovative manner
