Job Description
100991Reporting to the Head of EMEA Financial Planning and Analysis of this leading insurance broker, this Segment Senior Analyst role requires a highly communicative and commercially analytical individual.
Roles and responsibilities:
. Overall managerial responsibility for the EMEA FPA (Financial Planning and Analysis) Segment/Practice team with primary focus on Segment/Practice and Industry.
. Implement a high quality financial framework that adequately meets the needs of a professional Financial Control organization. One that enables delivery of high quality standardised and consistent Financial reports and analysis. One that heighten awareness of and maintains operational excellence in everything it does.
. Develop and implement an integrated and consistent KPI framework to aid the understanding of the Segment, Practice and Industry views across EMEA. Ensure that this framework fits the primary Geographical P&L and does not result in conflicting reporting when compared to the Geographical P&L.
. Drive and support the development and execution of the EMEA Budgeting and Forecasting process with primary focus on Segmental reporting. Constantly keep appraised of developments within these Segments, Practices and Industries, identifying issues and topics for broader dissemination across Finance.
. Develop and foster business relationships with EMEA Segment/Practice heads with the primary aim of showing to the Business that the EMEA FPA function can be seen as a trusted business partner.
. Represent FPA at the Operating Committees when required.
. Develop and foster business relationships with other FPA Finance members within the EMEA FPA team (in particular the Geographical Senior Analyst) and also across all EMEA Finance functions. Develop a highly motivated and professional team who take responsibility for what they do.
. Provide regular updates to senior management within EMEA Finance on major initiatives/developments
. Where necessary co-ordinate with/support the Finance teams in NY
