Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst for this leading insurance broker reports directly to the EMEA CFO and will be responsible for providing finance advice and support to senior corporate staff leaders in Technology and potentially other corporate areas, and their delegates. Specific responsibilities: Prepare annual budget and ongoing financial forecasts pertaining to the specific functional area, including income statement and cash flow projections. Monitor actual results against budget and forecast, providing relevant analysis and insight Develop the business case/financial analyses for function initiatives such as those relating to transformational activities Monitoring investment and savings associated with approved function initiatives Develop and implement operational and financial metrics to be used in assessing functional performance Create ad-hoc financial models to assess the feasibility of new ventures or products We are looking for an experience accountant with around 7 years experience as a controller and/or financial management experience, primarily in a large, global, multi-divisional organisation. Experience creating budgets and forecasts. Excellent analytical skills and strong relationship building experience. Experience of specifically working within the Technology function of a large organisation would be useful. AM88511.
