Job Description

My client, a leading UK general insurer, is in the initial stages of a SAP implementation across their UK and European offices. They have an urgent need for a Project Accountant for an initial period of 9 months to assist with the implementation, working closely with permanent members of staff and consultants. Two key responsibilities that the role will entail include: (1) International liaison - gathering and detailing the international requirements and ensuring that these are managed into the common finance design where required while managing the expectations of the international finance teams. (2) Operational Cash Processing - ensuring that all country bank statement processing is correctly accounted for and testing of the bank statement processing and reconciliation. Ideally your skills set will include - + Part or fully qualified accountant with relevant business experience in Finance. + Experience of working within a Treasury department of a European multinational company. + SAP system experience + Experience of working on a large system implementation project as a business analyst or similar. + Language skills ideally German, French and Spanish (not essential).
