Job Description

Our client is looking to expand upon its industry defining team and currently has an opening for a Confident and Highly Motivated Assistant Syndicate Accountant to join its office based in the heart of London`s vibrant financial district. The role itself will offer any potential candidate the opportunity to further gain a real understanding and passion for the Lloyds market and duties will include: . Maintain a strong financial control environment within the Syndicate . Assisting in the quarterly reporting process for the Syndicate. . Working closely with the underwriters to ensure that there is integrity in the data and assumptions, and that training and communication is provided as required . Producing expense budgets in conjunction with the syndicate management team, within Group budget framework. . Identify areas for cost savings or investment gains and work with the Syndicate or the Finance team to implement these . Attend the Finance manager meetings, providing experience and input to the Syndicate finance process.
