Job Description
My client provides legal expenses insurance for business and affinity groups, protecting them against both litigation and the cost of litigation.
They now require an assistant legal claims handler to assess and manage Before the Event Commercial Legal Expenses Insurance claims, whilst providing a high level customer service.
You will liaise with a number of parties such as customers, brokers and solicitors, making decisions on cover and communicating these decisions to the relevant internal and external parties. You will also manage the cost of the claims.
Applicants will be law grads with good working knowledge of core legal subjects i.e. Contract Disputes, Property and Employment Law. You will have previous experience working with insurance based claims with strong negotiation and communication skills. You will also possess an ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
