Job Description
New opportunity has arisen to join a successful Commercial Insurance Broker based in Bolton.
You will provide a full sales, marketing and advice service to existing and new clients, over the telephone and face to face. This will involve analysing the information gathered, undertake research to make suitable recommendations while maintaining professional competence in line with the FSA and firm specific rules.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities include:
· Identify potential sales from all new business enquiries
· Analyse existing client base and make suitable timely recommendations
· To complete supporting documentation in a compliant and accurate manner
· To meet the targets set by the Branch Manager
· To maintain own professional competence by attending training sessions and achieving the requirements set out in the Training and Competence Scheme
· To complete incoming individual work return' on a daily basis
· To undertake all other reasonable duties as reasonably required and directed
Skills and experience required:
Sales skills converting enquiries into sales
Ability to identify and match products including add on services and premium income to the benefit of new and existing clients
Keyboard skills - Microsoft Office, email, internet and Open GI
Telephone skills/Face to face communication skills
Awareness of the FSA rules on distance sales and the relevance of service level agreements
Verbal and written communication skills
Understand and comply with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and FSA rule.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
Experience of providing specialised sales and advice to support customer requirements
