Job Description

My client a FTSE 100 company is widely acknowledged as one of the leading, truly global, general insurance companies!! Their Group Corporate centre based in the City of London is the main headquarters and it is here that we require a Senior Internal Auditor to support the friendly and professional audit team in the delivery of the Internal Audit programme! You will be supporting the Internal Audit Manager/Regional Chief Auditor in delivering the programme and provision of other internal services, and this will involve contributing to the function that focuses upon the regions risk priorities and identifies solutions that significantly impacts the performance of the Group and enhances shareholder value. General insurance experience in a similar audit position is desirable as is a relevant professional Qualification (MIIA, CA, IT or Project Management etc). You will need knowledge of modern internal audit good practice and methods as well as knowledge of the regulatory environment affecting the UK financial services. Additionally you will need to be computer literate and be willing to travel up to 10% of your time around the UK. Ref PCL99827
