Job Description
A leading international risk management and insurance brokers are currently looking to recruit a Finance Director for a key business unit. The role will be to assist in strategy, formulate financial targets and drive the development of the financial reporting for the unit. Candidates should be qualified and have proven experience within preferably insurance or financial services.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the project management office, individual initiative leaders and BU FD's to ensure agreed benefit targets are being achieved according to agreed criteria and ensure measures are initiated and implemented to bring off-target initiatives back on track
- Ensure monthly financial reporting for all initiatives are in line with cost benefit budgets and ongoing plans
- Regular reporting of financial overview and cost benefit trends and variances, as compared to overall strategy to the Group CFO and COO and at relevant working group meetings
- Produce executive update for inclusion in the monthly Partners Group presentation, which includes monthly cost and benefits reporting.
- Work with project management office to update and develop benefit tracking, benefit growth and integration plan, in line with company strategy.
- Advise and review budget requirements, liaise with BU FD's and individual team leaders and agree benefit targets.
