Job Description
A leading international insurance brokers based in London are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant. This will be a key role within the business, focusing on relaying vital information to business heads and explaining financial information to non finance people, therefore the role is looking for a commercial aware qualified candidate, with excellent communication skills who has the ability to liaise with senior business heads.
Key responsibilities;
- Providing analytical support to the FP&A Manager
- Develop and foster business relationships with EMEA Business heads with the primary aim of showing to the Business that the EMEA the team can be seen as a trusted business partner.
- Gaining a full understanding of the cost base and making recommendations on how best to support the provision of financial analysis
- Drive and support the development and execution of the EMEA Budgeting and Forecasting process.
- Understand fully the management reporting structures on all MIS tools (predominantly Hyperion and Oracle)
- Maintain and update allocations relating to Central Costs
- Test and implement any systems enhancements/developments made by the NY systems team
- Ensure proper procedures and documentation are in place for the area of responsibility
