Job Description
To develop sales activities in the areas of Training, Digital, Users' Group and Consultancy.
·Looking for a proactive consultative sales individual that has experience of selling technical concepts and products
·There will be some cold calling but will be very minimal - lots of warm lead and lots of cross selling to existing clients
·This person will be expected to relationship manage and bring in customers from the following sectors: Blue Chip, Utilities, Building Contractors, Architects etc
·This person will be running a user group - so maintaining good customer service
·Government approved procurement contracts
·Audiences have been targeted in New Zealand and South Africa and ooking to extend this
·There will be no international travel, however there will be some visits to clients and also clients coming in to see the Sales Executive
·Required:
·Must have excellent written and verbal communication
·Proven solid sales background account management, experience in consultative sales essential
·Must be able to assimilate complex information and make it succinct
·Experience in construction desirable
·Must be excellent at relationship management
·Excellent customer services skills
·Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office
·Professional and assertive but not aggressive
·Experience of selling a technical product
