Job Description
Lloyds Insurance Treasury Assistant - £25k - £30k
This cutting edge underwriting organisation manages one of the largest syndicates at Lloyd's.
As Treasury Assistant you will be required to manage all cash payments and receipts ensuring correct posting; you will also complete all the monthly reconciliation as well as providing management reporting for both historical items as well as forecasting future cash flows.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
·Ensuring all payments appropriately authorised and creating weekly payments plus any ad-hoc expense payments for UK and overseas operations
·Posting of all cash movement including Lloyd's daily settlement messages , investment movements and expense payment
·Provide control report to overseas branch managers for invoice payment
·Manage banks including set-up of new accounts, managing any payment issues etc
·Ensuring all posting are allocated to the correct costs centres/companies
·Maintaining daily cashsheet including daily reconciliation of balances
·Identify short term funding requirements and advising of potential fund surpluses for investment
·Supply AIG with weekly cashflow summary and answering ad-hoc queries
·Performing monthly bank reconciliations
·Performing monthly investment and custodian reconciliations
·Assist in production of monthly expense reports including analysis vs budget and forecast
·Maintain entries in IRAS investment system
·Produce analysis of investment return by fund
·Ownership and management of other ad-hoc projects as they become required
As the successful candidate you will have experience in treasury and cash management, preferably in insurance/Lloyd's environment. You will be reliable in ensuring all processing takes place accurately and on a timely basis. You must also have the ability to follow-up and sort out any issues as they occur.
