Business Development Manager - £45,000 - £75,000 basic (OTE £90K+)
Opportunities within the UK & Ireland (Dublin).

Our client has over 100 years experience in providing a range of Insurance and Financial Services to organisations across the Globe. They are one of the top 10 largest Insurers in the world and are listed on the US stock exchange. They reach over 70 million customers and operate from 10 different countries.

They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to support their aggressive growth model and develop new distribution channels across the Insurance and Financial sectors within the UK or Ireland.

The Job:

•Working from home or based within their regional office you will pro-actively identify and develop long-term partnerships with large corporate business partners such as Banks, Building Societies, Brokers and Direct Marketing organisations.
•Provide creative solutions in order to build up brand awareness within the UK/Ireland.
•Tender for business, including designing proposals to attract potential accounts.
•Design and deliver confident sales presentations to potential business partners.
•Handle queries and objections, representing the company as a leading force and securing the delivery of the contract.
•Manage the projects closely to ensure the deal process and implementation of the agreed project is executed efficiently.
•Maintain and develop existing client accounts.

Experience desired:

•Proven business development and relationship building experience within the Creditor Insurance, Risk and Protection markets.
•Business to Business sales experience with Banks, Building Societies, Brokers or Affinities.
•Experience in negotiating complex deals and influencing Senior Management within corporate companies.
•Experience of designing and executing high quality presentations.
•Ability to build up excellent working relationships both internally and externally.
•Proven market and regulatory knowledge within Creditor Insurance, Risk or Protection within your country.


The Person:

In addition to having the desired experience, you will need to have a professional outlook and be a confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.

You will have gained useful contacts and be able to utilise these within this role in order to identify potential opportunities and create new distribution channels.
