Job Description
One of the world's largest and most successful global reinsurers requires a Pricing Actuary to join their London based team.
You will be assisting the UK Pricing Manager in leading the pricing function for UK Life business. You will also be responsible for implementing the pricing methodology, ensuring the integrity of the pricing models & for reviewing proposed terms.
In addition you will also be responsible for research, systems and Quotation review
You will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. mathematics or actuarial science and will ideally have some good post qualification experience, however nearly qualification candidates with further experience will be considered.
In addition to all of the above you will have excellent communication skills; ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms, the ability to think creatively (a key responsibility is quantifying impact of bespoke client requests) and strong interpersonal skills to work well in team environment.
