My client, a FTSE 100 Insurer are currently in need of a Credit Analyst to join their illustrious organisation for a minimum of 3 months with the distinct possibility of the role going perm.

With rates of around £300-500pd this is an excellent opportunity for any credit analyst who is looking to build upon their insurance exposure.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct credit assessments on the Group's Approved Counterparty (ARC) and ensure that all records and data relating to these assessments are maintained in accordance with Group Policy.
• Make recommendations to Manager Counterparty Risk for counterparty inclusion (or not) on the ARC list based on detailed analysis of all available information and evaluation of past experience and current exposure.

The ideal candidate will have broad experience in reinsurance and/or credit risk assessment.

In depth knowledge of: Global Reinsurance credit marketplace, commercial credit risk assessment methods and good practice, FSA requirements in relation to Reinsurance Credit Risks.
