Job Description
Dynamic and well-established insurance research company has an opportunity within the Bucks area for a "can-do" researcher to join the team. You will analyse and input data which supports market-leading products. Customer service skills and an understanding of insurance is essential.
Responsibilities
·Communicating with customers and providers by phone, fax and letter and through company meetings in order to gain the information required to maintain and develop the database
·Researching and preparing answers to telephone and written enquiries relating to the relevant product areas from providers and customers
·Promoting the company's products and services to contacts within the industry
·Maintaining an awareness of issues and developments within the industry by reading the industry and financial press and familiarising yourself with product literature, guides and brochures
·Actively contributing towards discussions and presentations relating to the development of the database and identifying potential problems
·Undertaking general office duties and providing cover when required
Required:
·Technical knowledge of UK general insurance.
·Ability to identify to understand and prioritise customer needs to deliver a high standard of advice and service.
·Ability to prioritise effectively.
·Ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
·Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) English and Math's grade C or above
·Solid MSWord, Excel, Internet and email experience.
·Willingness to undertake study towards Industry qualification, i.e. ACII
