Job Description
Analyze market trends and create associated reports for iconic models for marketing and sales management and proactively identify pricing opportunities and compliance
Maintain and disseminate weekly pricing dash boards
Monitor and provide consolidated view of competitor activities observed in the marketplace
Preparation of analysis for price list and price policy discussions
Analyze product volume, margin and competitive prices to provide guidance and pricing recommendations (e.g. proposed prices and overall impact) in the price setting process
Provide accurate and detailed facts to assist management in determining pricing guidelines for products by account/channel
Coordinate or obtain key data from the pricing systems for the analyses, perform qualily control
Provide analytical support to field sales on pricing and promotions decisions
Analyze impact post price changes
Minimum job requirementsthe individual must have an undergraduate business degree or other discipline that requires extensive quantitative knowledge. In addition, the individual should have demonstrated professional and academic success (e.g. graduated in top 25% of class; consistently received top evaluations at prior job). Three to four years of business experience is preferred.
Ana/ytica/ ski/Is the individual must be able to synthesize marketing and pricing information to draw insights and actionable recommendations (e.g., structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results)
Marketing experience/understanding in addition to pricing, the individual should have a basic understanding of marketing
Computer ski//sfamiliarity with computers and advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
