Job Description
The Finance Controller role is a very interesting opportunity for either a QBE or Qualified Accountant to work for a successful business that are located in Southampton. This company are part of a larger Group who in total employ over 1000 staff and this particular role is offering a salary of upto £45k + bonus + benefits.
The position will involve Management of month-end close process, preparation of monthly management accounts package. Year-end statutory accounts. Compilation of yearly budgets and monthly forecasts. Management of contract costing system and assisting Project Managers with project planning forecast and control. Treasury function and weekly cash forecasts. Assisting with commercial management of the business. Company secretarial duties, VAT returns, Corporation tax and other statutory returns.
Ideally you will have worked in a company that has given you exposure to job costing or project accounting. Salary for the FC is upto £45k - they also offer pension, healthcare and critical illness cover.
