Product Manager, Germany Munich, 48K-52K+ Bonus + Benefits
We are looking for a highly technical Product Manager to assist with our expansion into Germany. As the Product Manager, Germany you will drive cross-functional teams to translate business requirements and customer needs into a usable and effective consumer experience.
You will be responsible for defining, documenting and delivering products with both online and offline service components. You will drive long-term roadmaps while also defining feature sets at the user-experience level.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer-facing product development in a web-based and/or offline services environment. The Product Manager, Germany must have a strong business background and be comfortable working directly with marketing, creative, and technical engineering teams.
Responsibilities
•Work hand-in-hand in a cross-functional capacity with teams to develop a consensus on product requirements taking into consideration business, legal, customer care, consumer and technical issues
•Work in tight collaboration with product and technical colleagues based in New York City to plan and execute features and functions
•Define and document technical product requirements at the feature and function level (eg: market requirements, use cases, wire frames, etc)
•Manage the internal approvals process for all new features
•Communicate new product developments throughout the organization
•Manage ongoing changes to product implementation in response to analysis and market changes
•Provide analysis on product effectiveness using web traffic tools, user research and focus groups, etc.
Requirements
•7+ years as a product management professional
•Demonstrated success launching and maintaining consumer-facing web-based transactional and/or editorial driven sites
•Thorough understanding of the full software development project lifecycle
•Thrives in a deadline-driven, fast-paced team environment
•Excellent business and technical skill, quantitative & analytical skills, written and oral communication skills and excellent presentation skills
•Native German speaker and fluency in written and spoken English
