Job Description
Expert Developer in C++/EXCEL/VBA from any sector to join expanding team of FRONT OFFICE architects within expanding CROSS ASSET team for a major INVESTMENT BANK. Working alongside Traders, supporting and developing Real-Time tools in a high paced, exciting environment.
You will:
drive the design and construction of innovative technology solutions and take ownership for the technical integrity of the solution using C++/EXCEL/VBA
be working with the traders, on the desk, to understand their needs and develop systems solutions for them.
contribute throughout the full development lifecycle; from conceptualizing through to implementing ideas
identify and address architectural challenges and enhance the current product range
be working in a high paced atmosphere directly working with Traders in the Front Office in a CROSS ASSET team utilizing your C++/EXCEL/VBA skills
must have a hunger and a desire to progress within the financial sector
The ideal profile for this position will:
Have a Bachelors, Masters or PhD background within Computer Science/Engineering or Mathematics from a top University
Be an architect who continually strives to create software using C++/EXCEL/VBA that is of the highest possible quality in regards to performance, reliability and maintainability
Be prepared to go the extra mile
Be hungry to succeed in a financially rewarding environment
Have extensive design experience, either within the Financial district or from another field of experience
Your technical background will be:
Expert C++ developer with a strong background using EXCEL/VBA
A problem solver; able to think on their feet and enjoy challenges
Be mathematically minded
