Job Description
Leading New York based hedge fund seeks chief technology officer;
In this role you will be;
· Directing all the programming within the fund
· Reporting directly to the global head
· Responsible for optimizing algorithims and general system performance
· Interfacing with the vendor
The ideal profile for this role will have;
· A lot financial experience in equities
· Strong communication skills
· Hands on experience within a financial environment
The ideal technical background will involve;
· Experience coding in C++ and (perl would be an added bonus)
· Statistical or econometrical education
