Business Project Manager / Business Improvement Manager – Financial Services (6-12 Month Contract)

As one of the Sunday Times ‘20 Best Big Companies to Work For’, our client is a reputable Mortgage Administration Company and a subsidiary of the Britannia Building Society. Located in the heart of Plymouth’s city centre, they are renowned for service excellence. They are now looking to recruit a Business Project Manager / Business Improvement Manager on a contract basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced candidate who is motivated and enjoys working as part of a team. Along with a great benefits package, you will also be provided with the best tools available so you are able to deliver outstanding results.
This role will involve managing the full project lifecycle by liaising with members of the business, IT teams and 3rd parties to ensure projects are implemented, often to tight timescales.
To succeed in this position you must be an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, ideally within the Business Continuity or regulatory reporting fields.
Additionally, as the Business Project Manager / Business Improvement Manager you must have excellent influencing, planning and interpersonal skills, along with a methodical and organised approach. Your proven ability to successfully lead and build a project team is also essential.
Project management or any relevant financial qualifications would be beneficial to your application, but are not essential.
Knowledge of the Financial Services industry; in particular the Mortgage and Building Society sectors would be a distinct advantage to your application.
