Our client is the fastest growing broking and financial services business in the UK. They specialise in delivering market-leading insurance solutions to both individuals and businesses. An opportunity has now arisen for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to join their software house division.

For this position our client is looking for a flexible candidate as this is a varied role where no two days are the same. As a Business Analyst / Project Manager you will be responsible for planning and delivering projects on time, to budget, and to agreed specification in order to meet operational and business requirements.
Your position will involve working closely with the development team, and assisting customers in producing requirements documents, therefore you’ll need excellent communication and influencing skills, and ideally, an understanding of the insurance industry.
Your main duties will include:
- work with the development team, formulating and delivering projects
- identifying and progressing the allocation of solutions across projects, programmes and releases
- assisting business stakeholders with the prioritisation and phasing of requirements
- developing high-level and detailed functional and non-functional system requirements
- managing changes during the development lifecycle
- performing quality reviews on deliverables produced by colleagues
To succeed in this position you must have project management or business analysis experience, ideally with experience in the insurance or finance industry. Applications from candidates with a strong insurance background will also be considered as full training will be provided for the right person.
Additionally, as the Business Analyst / Project Manager you must have knowledge of relevant business practices, along with a strong customer focus. Your good communication and presentation skills are also vital, as are your strong decision making skills and your ability to influence your peers.
