Do you know your bits from your bytes? Are you a techno IT whizz with a passion and interest in writing and editing in this constantly evolving and developing fast paced industry. If you're someone who knows what IT security issues company's face and understand all about Anti-malware gateways and wireless security then this could be the role you've been looking for.
A highly established independent media company, who publish over 110 magazines in 40 countries are looking for a technology editor/reporter to work on an IT security magazine.
The publication's website is utilised by the key decision-makers within the IT sector in order to specify and purchase corporate IT security products and services.
As the online editor you would attend trade shows and conferences as a representative of the publication, offering interesting networking experiences and the chance to be immersed in IT industry.
The ideal candidate for this position would be someone currently in an existing reporting role at an IT-related website, or someone with a keen interest in this sector. Expressly, the candidate would have experience with reporting on networks, IT security and data management and have experience using CMS, combined with a strong knowledge of data privacy laws and legislation. Other key requirements would be someone with an excellent contacts list and comfortable interviewing senior industry figures.
