Job Description
Payroll: This is done on a monthly basis on Sage Payroll Line 50 package. All returns including year end.
Posting Sales Invoices: Timesheets will be sent at the end of the month. These are raised on a excel template and posted / e-mailed to the relevant client. They are then batched entered on Sage Instant Package.
Bookkeeping : Maintain Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Nominal Ledger on Sage Instant. Post all Bank transactions. Do monthly Bank Reconciliations.
Monthly Management Accounts: Produce monthly management accounts for board.
Vat Returns: Produce Quarterly Vat Returns for HM Revenue & Customs
Year End Accounts: Produce year end accounts for auditors.
Debt Collection: Contacting Clients to ensure they have received invoice and confirming payment date. Chasing Clients who have not paid by due date.
Payments: Paying Suppliers, Expenses, Salaries and Taxes. By Cheque and Banking on line facility.
Human Resources: Maintain all employee contracts, holiday and sickness records. Assist in the setting up of Employee Pension Schemes. Maintain Employers for Childcare Scheme.
Other Admin Duties: Other General Office Duties.
