Job Description

Financial Adviser (Leads Provided)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: FULL FPC/CeFA/CFP
£30-£45k + Car + bonus + benefits. OTE £75K

The Financial Planning Division of this global bank is looking for Financial Advisers/IFA's to join its bancassurance business (Regulated Sales) its fastest growing division in the UK. Current vacancies are in the City of London, Canary Wharf, North London, East London, West London and South London.

The Bank is one of the world's top 10 financial services organisations, employing more than 170,000 people in over 50 countries. It has 41 leading brands and 40 million customers worldwide and still growing. Every year it pays out a guaranteed 10% profit share bonus for their staff a total payout of £1.75b over the past 10 years and over 100,000 employees benefiting.

You will be working for the fastest growing bancassurer in the UK as a Financial Adviser. Perhaps this is best described by the Dresdner Kleinwort report, which, when considering the banks performance in 2007, noted "new business sales grew by 89%... the fastest growth rate in the market."
Bancassurance offers a unique opportunity to be the industry's fastest growing player:
The business grew by 28% in 2007 and is on track for a further 25% growth in 2008.
The Banks ultimate plan is to become the number 1 bancassurer in the UK by 2010 and effectively becoming a £1b+ business in the regulated financial planning market.

*Top 10 Financial advisers averaged £120,000 in bonus in 2007.
*Top 40 averaged £77,000 in bonus in 2007.
*Top 250 averaged £37,000 in 2007.
*Overall average bonus earnings over £17,000 for their sales force or nearly 60%.
* The OTE: £75,000 – for any new adviser joining the bank.

The bank is seeking fully qualified Financial Advisers/IFA's to work with in the bancassurance arm of its business, which is providing a holistic financial planning service (Investments, Protection and Pension) to its retail based clients in the UK. You will be supported in your role by leads provided to you by your retail branches who service the clients day to day banking needs.

You will have strong relationship building skills (possibly gained from networking with accountancy firms/branches etc) so you can work closely with your branch colleagues in terms of coaching and developing them to provide quality referrals and pro-actively identifying opportunities to build your client portfolio through prospecting an existing client database, networking and referrals. So therefore you do not need to bring a client bank with you when you join, as all leads will be provided. You should also be able to demonstrate coaching and training skills as well as the ability to influence others to deliver a result.

The ideal candidate will have experience in regulated financial services sales and coming from either a tied/multi-tied or IFA background. You will not need any experience in the bancassurance environment, as full job training will be provided. You will be fully FPC/CeFA/CFP qualified with a minimum of 1 years experience in regulated financial services sales and 6 months CAS.

Basic Salary ranges from £30,000 to £45,000 + Car Allowance £4,000 + 10% Profit Share + Company Pension and un-capped bonus. OTE: £75K+ with the top adviser in London earning over £250,000. Recruiting all over London and the South East.
