Job Description

Financial Adviser (Private Clients)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: FULL FPC/CeFA/CFP
Up To £45,000 + Car + bonus + benefits

When your working for the most prestigious bank here in the country, when you have the support of years of experience and the reward of industry leading benefits, when sheer scale of opportunity within the group becomes yours for taking only then you can rest assured that you've reached the top of your game.

When you look at this opportunity very closely you will realise its more than a life changing experience. You will be working for the fastest growing bancassurer in UK as a Private Financial Planning Manager. Perhaps this is best described by the Dresdner Kleinwort report, which, when considering the banks performance in 2007, noted "new business sales grew by 89%... the fastest growth rate in the market." Perhaps most satisfying, however, was their assertion that there's "much more to come." This bank is one of the largest providers of banking and investments to personal and small business customers in the UK and on a global scale its ranked within top 5 with a market cap of over £67b.

The private channel, which has grown by far the biggest in the UK in 2007, has been the most successful channel in the bank. It smashed its yearly target and became the number 1 core income generator in the bank with over 70% of its sales force on target and earning bonus.

It services its top 2% of the HNW clients, offering a bespoke financial planning service via relationship managers. For clients to become eligible for private client financial planning service they need to have earnings in excess of £75,000 or joint income of £100,000+.

The bank has clearly identified a huge opportunity to establish propositions in mass market and mass affluent segments. Its brand presence in the market place and the unique financial planning service offers their Financial Advisers the opportunity to build long-term relationship with their clients and provide specialist service such as Retirement Planning Service (SIPPS, Stakeholder), Investments and protection Planning.

The channel paid out £2.5m in bonus last year – and when you consider there are only 110 advisers in UK the opportunity to earn money is probably far greater than any other financial services company in the country. Top quartile producers earning in excess of £25,000 bonus per quarter, advisers in London earning on average between £100,000 to £150,000 P/A. The opportunity to earn over six figures is very realistic and with their top producer earning in excess of £300k, it's more than achievable for individuals who are driven and hungry to succeed.

As a Financial Adviser you will be providing a holistic financial planning service (Investments, Protection and Pension) to personal HNW clients with the view of building long-term successful relationships. You will be supported in your role by leads provided to you by relationship managers who service the HNW Clients. So therefore you do not need to bring a client bank with you when you join, as all leads will be provided. You should also be able to demonstrate coaching and training skills as well as the ability to influence others to deliver a result.

The ideal candidate will have experience in regulated financial services sales and coming from either a tied/multi-tied or IFA background. You will not need any experience in the HNW arena, as full job training will be provided. You will be fully FPC/CeFA qualified with a minimum of 1 years experience in regulated financial services sales and CAS would be preferable but not necessary.

Basic Salary ranges from £25,000 to £45,000 + Car Allowance £4,000 + 10% Profit Share + Company Pension and un-capped bonus. OTE: £75K+ with the top adviser in London earning over £250,000. Recruiting all over London and the South East.
