Job Description

Leading Financial services Company is currently seeking home based Trainee Financial Advisors across the UK. 

Role: 

Provide financial advice to both new and existing customers, according to statutory, regulatory compliance requirements.   

Duties: 

·         Draw up business plans for achieving sales and profit targets in the full range of products and services, agreeing them with the Area Manager

·         Target business opportunities within designated affinity group

·         Plan and carry out an appropriate level of customer contact, taking account of market opportunities, product features and customer preferences using self generated leads

·         Carry out regular reviews of performance compared to targets and present plans to address shortfalls to the Area Manager

·         Make initial contact with the customer through activity undertaken by the Contact Centre, promotional activity, personal introductions and networking.

·         Carry out full financial appraisals

·         Identify shortfalls and recommend options to resolve them

·         Respond to the client’s wishes by supplying products and services and to provide an explanation of the client’s decision

·         Deliver agreed levels of service to both new and existing customers, ensuring that sales, activity and personal introduction targets are met

·         Plan sales campaigns and promotional activities in conjunction with Area Manager

·         To set up and maintain a suitable home working environment that satisfies health and safety, data protection and compliance requirements 

Skills / Experience: 

·         Good face to face sales track record within Financial Service or Healthcare

·         Ideally CF1, FPC or CeMAP1 qualified, but not necessary as training will be given although is essential you pass examinations.  

·         Must have the drive for success – demonstrating personal drive, competitiveness and tenacity

·         Good enthusiasm / Independence coupled with a self reliance and optimism.

·         Good personal approach to work – able to create own environment and possessing great integrity / reliability.

·         People orientation – able to develop effective relationships quickly and influence others

·         Capacity and willingness to learn – both in terms of the role and professional qualifications

·         Experience – some evidence of having displayed these behaviours elsewhere in a FS/Healthcare/Medical Sales environment  

Salary: 

The basic Salary on offer is £30,000 - £35,000 plus Company Car plus  Bonus  + excellent Benefits.  Realistic OTE £60k+. The company offers a good benefits package + holidays.
